Open House Event

The Comfortably Speaking Toastmasters Club held a semi annual open house at the Mississauga Central Library early in February. Presented as a regular meeting, the open house demonstrated the activities and opportunities to learn provided by the club. Members conducted the meeting, introduced speakers, provided information, gave speeches, prepared and presented speech evaluations and mingled with guests. Guests included two Area Governors, who both spoke at the meeting, and a Distinguished Toast Master (DTM), the highest level in Toastmasters. The DTM's speech illustrated the effectiveness of Toastmaster training. The club meets at the library the first and third Saturday each month. Guests are always welcome!
